Women Caring for the Land

Learn about forestry and conservation practices and network with other women in your community!

Come and visit the property of Susan and David Weigandt and hear about all of the activities they are undertaking to care for their land. They are active managers of their woodland, completing timber stand improvement projects, harvests, plantings, and invasive species control. They also pasture cows, have an oak savanna, plant trees and shrubs, and are placing a permanent conservation easement on the property.
