Get to Know Tony Johnson, Natural Resources Educator
I am a 6th generation Wisconsinite from a family teachers and farmers. My love for the outdoors was ignited by a feral childhood, filled with adventures in the woods and waters of this great state. In college, I studied botany, ecology and education, and finished with a masters degree in natural resources extension. After half a decade with the federal government, I’m thrilled to be serving as an extension Natural Resources Educator for the University of Wisconsin. I primarily do forestry education for private landowners in southern WI, but also work on agroforestry, non-timber forest products, and woodland wildlife outreach statewide.
