This series of webinars invites new and prospective landowners in Wisconsin to connect with their de facto conservation team, and discuss ways to achieve their property goals. Each webinar features a different lineup of guest speakers from organizations assisting landowners across Wisconsin. We encourage you to attend all three.
UW Extension Conservation Connections (7-7:45 PM, 3/21/23)
Our first webinar will introduce landowners to the Land Success Project from UW-Madison. We’ll share stories from Wisconsin landowners and connect with guest speakers from UW-Madison Extension agriculture, natural resources, forestry, wildlife, horticulture, Extension Lakes, and more.
Local, State, and Federal Conservation Connections (7-7:45 PM, 3/28/23)
The second webinar will provide an overview of local, state, and federal government assistance for private landowners. We’ll meet some of the people and talk about some of the programs that exist to help Wisconsin landowners. Guest speakers include representatives from the County Land Conservation Dept., DNR Forestry, WI Dept. of Trade and Consumer Protection, NRCS, and more.
Non-Profit and Peer Conservation Connections (7-7:45 PM, 4/4/23)
The final webinar will feature non-profit and peer to peer organizations with a mission to support private landowners. We’ll have guests from private landowner organizations focused on farming, forestry, water, wildlife, and more.
