Session 2 - Tuesday May 9, 6-8 PM, Demo Room
Keeping your trees healthy
Do you have injured or dying trees? This session will review insects, diseases, non-native invasive species and other factors that can affect the vigor and diversity of your woodland. You will leave knowing signs and symptoms of sick or stressed trees, and who to call if you have a concern.
Session 3 - Tuesday May 16, 6-8 PM, Demo Room
People, programs and planning: assistance with your woodlands
The creation of a healthy woodland combines knowledge of forestry techniques and the investment of time and money. This session will link you to the people, programs and organizations that offer technical and financial assistance for all aspects of your woodland. We will also take you through the beginning steps of woodland management. Start by considering what is important to you, and learn what resources will be needed to make your vision a reality.
